Hello, My name is (NAME), and I am calling to express my concern over the treatment of Tianna Laboy by the State Department of Correction. The state of Connecticut failed in its legal and moral responsibility when it failed to provide Tianna any medical care during the birth of her daughter at York Correctional Institution.
The system failed her when she needed it most, and it’s taken far too long for justice to be served. I demand that your office stop dragging its feet and take action today to right this terrible wrong. No new mother should have to experience that level of neglect, and its your job to make it right.
Mi nombre es (NOMBRE) y estoy llamando para expresar mi preocupación por el tratamiento de Tianna Laboy por parte del Departamento de Correcciones del Estado. El estado de Connecticut falló en su responsabilidad legal y moral cuando no le proporcionó a Tianna ningún tipo de atención médica durante el nacimiento de su hija en el Centro Penitenciario de York.

Hello, My name is (NAME), and I am calling to express my concern over the treatment of Tianna Laboy by the State Department of Correction. The state of Connecticut failed in its legal and moral responsibility when it failed to provide Tianna any medical care during the birth of her daughter at York Correctional Institution.
The system failed her when she needed it most, and it’s taken far too long for justice to be served. We know that Tianna’s cellmate was granted a 1-year sentence reduction for assisting in Tianna’s delivery. No new mother should have to experience the level of neglect suffered by Tianna. I believe the State should reduce Tianna’s sentence and end the cruel and unusual punishment of Tianna at the hands of the DOC.

El estado de Connecticut falló en su responsabilidad legal y moral cuando no le proporcionó a Tianna ningún tipo de atención médica durante el nacimiento de su hija en el Centro Penitenciario de York.
